SCIENCE
ART
In
this workshop your students are going to do two scientific experiments
that all use forces we deal with every day. The cool thing is
that by doing the experiments we are going to create three different
piece of art work.
Teachers will be pleased to know that your students will have
about 2hrs of colouring in after the paint is all dry.
SPIN
ART
What
happens as it gets faster and faster? It is the Centrifugal Force
that holds you up against the walls. A washing machine works the
same way.
Your students are going to create a amazing individual art work
using this force. No two pictures will ever be the same because
the paint is never applied the same way twice.
WORM ART
Using
mealworms, your students will observe how these creatures move
and use this motion to create some interesting "abstract"
art. We use safe paints that will not harm the worms. It's icky
and a bit weird, but your students will have the best biology
lesson of the year!
